busy busy

These past few weeks have been very CRAZY at our house. I feel like we have just been "go-go-go-go" all day, everyday. Hopefully soon it will end. here are some random pictures from the past few weeks along with a video from awhile ago. Hope you enjoy!

The local high school had a homecoming parade and I happened to have the day off , so Tavan and I went to watch Uncle Jo D in the parade. Tavan is showing off all of his "prettys" he got from the various floats.

cheesin' it up

here is just a random video with no real point to it other than Tavans adorable-ness. He talks so much and it suprises me how much clearer he talks than some kids.

because we are cool like that...

Before we went to the Monument, we had stake conference. We all showed up and noticed that we all were matching. Totally not planned but it happened, all the boys and Olivia and Mya were in red and mom and I were in pink. We had to take some pictures to document such an occurrence.

all of us minus mom :(

and because I haven't mentioned it before I saved this picture for last. Jason and Tavan are very close and Tavan is going to miss Jason TREMENDOUSLY here soon because Jason turned in his mission papers and has been called to serve in Sofia, Bulgaria!!! I am a little nervous just because I know nothing about Bulgaria, but am excited for him at the same time. Jason will be leaving in February to the MTC before heading off. I know that Tavan will miss his uncle Jason and it is a little sad to me that #2 will be the age of Tavan now, when he returns. but I know that Jason will have a good time.

Dinosaur National Monument

This Sunday we had the chance to go with my family and check out the Dinosaur National Monument. The rock quarry has been closed since 2006 but just reopened this month. It was very neat to go and see all the bones. Tavan loved it and kept saying "er-soar bones" (dinosaur bones) and "RAWR" it was cute. Here are some of our pictures!

further down the road is Josie's Cabin. Josie lived in this cabin until 1964 when she died at the age of 90. Her property was beautiful but I couldn't live there!

Olivia and Mya

We got to spend this Friday with Olivia and Mya while my mom was in Junction for JoD's post-op check up. We took them to lunch and to the park for some fun before nap time. We love these little girls and Tavan loved getting to play with his cousins
