Easter

This year we spent Easter at home. My family was in Idaho and Rickys parents were out of town also. Tavan didn't really know what was going on, but he sure looked cute! Paula got him an Easter Sunday outfit for church and he looked pretty handsome in it. Ricky was not a fan of the Purple but I thought it was cute!
After church we had Rickys grandparents and brother and sis. in law over for dinner. I was a little stressed out getting asked the day before to cook for them but i pulled it off! Ricky and I made some yummy ham, sweet potatoes, rolls, deviled eggs, salad and strawberry trifle! we got lots of complements on the food so we must have done something right! I love to cook big meals but I am not a fan of the stress that comes with it. All in all it was a pretty good Easter! Here are some pictures from our weekend
here is a cell phone picture of Tavan ready to go to church
My adorable baby boy in church!
Peter Cottontail not only brought Tavan an Easter basket, but also hid some eggs for him to find. Tavan wasnt sure what to do with eggs but he did like to throw them. This is a picture of the neighbors grandson sharing one of his eggs with Tavan.
Huntin' for the eggs
Tavans first Easter basket (we didn't make on for him last year)
This picture was taken a few days ago. Tavan has never been a big fan of hats but the other day he found his little hat and put it on, so we snapped a picture.

Legal

We are legal hunters now!
Yep, thats right, Jo D and I sat through 12+ hours of Hunters Education a few weeks ago. I don't know what was worse, the 12 hours or the fact that we were in a room full of 8 year olds (except for maybe 5 other people over the age of 15). I find it really wrong when 8 year olds know more about guns and ammunition than I do... This town is so TWISTED (compared to what I am used to). The class was a little rough to say the least. We both even got queasy while they were showing us how to gut an animal...the 8yr. olds loved it though. Some quotes from the class.

child- "Whats the muzzle"
Ranger- "its this part (pointing to the muzzle) its the end that bites"

ranger - "what is conservation?"
child- *raising hand so hard because they just know this answer* "
ranger- "yes"
Child- "its when you can't go to the bathroom"

ranger- (walks up to small girl with a gun in his hand) "can you stick your finger up the chamber to check to make sure the gun is unloaded?"
child- "no I can't do that, I had West Nile last summer"

and just FYI ammunition is pronounced "immune-i-tay-tion" to 8 yr olds

Yes that is the level of intelligence i sat through for 3 days, and it was awesome.

Ricky is pretty pleased that after 3 years of trying to get me to take the class, i finally did it. and now He has put me in for tags. Guess we will see how this goes, and to anyone waiting to take the class, just do it and get it over with!

Behind the scenes

Disclaimer- contains adult content lol that sounds bad, it really isn't just has "womanly" discussion topics

I figured I would finally bring everyone up to speed on this past year and what has been going on "behind the scenes"(excited much? because I'm not) Some of you may already know a little bit about what has been going on, but as far as I know , no one but Ricky and I know the whole shebang. The reasons that we did not share earlier were
1. Its personal, and at the time Ricky and I did not want the whole town knowing what we were going through. It was something that we wanted to handle together and not with every one involved.
2. We weren't sure just how serious it was

so here we go:
Sometime in April last year, I stopped taking my BC pills (for obvious reasons :)). After I stopped taking them I began to have constant heavy periods that would last for weeks, then stop for one then begin again. In my little mind,I thought that maybe it was just because of my body freaking out to no longer having the pills to help "balance" my periods, so I let it go. But when I never "reset" I started to go see doctors here and there. One of them even said "well I don't know whats wrong, it just sucks to be you"(words exactly. awesome right??? just the response you want to hear. needless to say, I REFUSE to see her anymore)After getting that response I went straight into my OB-GYN and talked to him. He ended up running test and what not and put me back on BC pills to stop and restart me. After trying different kinds of pills we finally found one with just the right amount of hormone to stop my periods but not make me sick. (Some of the pills have to high of a dose of hormone for my body so finding one that works for me is tricky) while I was at his office we talked for a VERY long time about any and every thing it could be and narrowed it down to 2 things.

1. I'm just strange and its something that will have to "dig" deeper into.
or
2. I am one of the women (like 2% of women) that have one baby and are essentially done. Their bodies can't handle it and so they get rid of all the eggs that they have and the only real effective way of stopping the bleeding with out BC is to cauterize the lining of the uterus, making it pretty near impossible to have more children.(NOT COOL)

The second reason is the main reason for not letting everyone and their dog know what is going on in the Morgan household. Ricky and I , from day 1, have always wanted 3 children of our own. We are only 1/3 finished, and to hear that the other 2/3 might not happen was a little depressing to say the least. We didn't get to down because we were hoping that reason #1 was true. We told parts of what Dr. Griffith said to people ( the moms) but not the whole story, because we were pretty much in denial ourselves. But after seeing Dr. Griffith for a few months now, and him researching and what not we believe we have found the reason. We now think that the reason for bleeding so much is my bodies way of trying to get myself to ovulate. Here is where it gets confusing for me. When a women ovulates here body releases the egg down the tube( the whole reason why you want to know when you are ovulating if you are trying to get pregnant) and then the period is when the uterus sloughs off its lining. It is after the period that ovulation occurs. Dr. Griffith thinks that my body was trying to get itself to ovulate by menstrating, then waiting a week or so before staring again. When I was taking the BC pills it was regulating and making sure that I was ovulating, but when I stopped taking it, it stopped too. So now the plan is to stop the BC and now I am on fertility pills that will regulate ovulation just in a different manner. Yep, you read right....Fertility pills....and because of these pill the Dr. is predicting that things will happen quickly if Ricky and I so desire. He said that if I am not pregnant by 5 cycles (6 months) then its Rickys fault :p. But seeing how we got pregnant so fast with Tavan (1 month) he does not believe there is anything wrong. So for now, we have solved the problem.
So the good news is, with a little luck, Tavan will have a sibling on the way soon ( & for the record, No I am not announcing that I am pregnant because I am not!)

Good Morning from the Morgan House

Tavan and I share the same feelings towards our schedule for the day,and just for Mondays in general. It looks a little like this...
This is the happiest look I could get this morning. Apparently, 9a.m. came a little too early for this one
