so recently Ricky and i have been busy busy....
my dad came over from Oregon for a quick visit and to meet Rickys family. He also spoiled us and bought a bunch of baby things! Thanks again dad! Our little place is starting to look like there is a baby on the way! we can not wait until we are in our place where there is room for all of Tavans things. Also today the crib bedding came in...so excited...i absolutely love it! and sometime here soon the crib should be arriving! we cant wait....
Ricky also got a call from the mine..so once he makes his descision Ricky might have a new job that is more"stable" and not on again off again and only when there is work. the only real downer to it is that it will be underground...which i wouldnt prefer but everything else about the job would be worth making the change so we will see here in the next couple of days what happens.
While my dad was here he reminded me of all the little "educational" vacations that i did as a child. so Ricky and i decided that we needed to get out and see and learn more. so we started out by taking a camping trip (which is something that Ricky and i both love to do very much) to Flaming Gorge(once we found a spot, and rocks to subsitute for the tent pegs we forgot) we took a tour of the dam, learned all about it, and stopped and read all the litte signs around the area. we both enjoyed the little vacation and on our way home stopped at the Utah Welcome center as well as the colorado and got a bunch of pamphlets from attractions around where we live and decided that it our next vacation would be to Mesa Verde sometime this summer. We are both pretty excited to go see this place and just need to pick a date.
After talking with Ricky about this fall Idecided to change my mind about school. orginally i was not going to school this semester because my due date falls on the week right before finals, and also i didnt want to have to get up and go walk around campus all day long as large marge in the winter. but after thinking about it again we decided that online classes would be much easier for me to do and also that i could work with some of my instructors about the finals and what not. that way if i do the spring semester i should be able to graduate after so i signed up for classes online. I mostly just had my humanities credits and electives left...so for fun i signed up for a Russian class....both ricky and i are pretty excited about it (hopefully it doesnt get cancelled :))
i thought it would be challenging to do online but ricky said that he would help me and that it would be something that i could learn and that he could "brush up" on. so it should be pretty entertaining.
