Bike

Ricky and I have been waiting since I was pregnant for Tavan to ride his "first bike" and we love that he is big enough for one. We have been debating if he is actually old enough for one but after we saw how much he loved Prestons (Rickys friends son) bike, we caved. We thought about waiting for his birthday, but its during winter so we got him one for the summer. Tavans little face lit up so much when we showed him the box with his bike in it. He was so anxious to get it put together and loves riding it. He is so adorable on it. I am just happy i found one with a seat belt, push handle that lets me steer as well, and baskets for his toys! Tavan is ready to ride!

Lake #2

On Monday we got the chance to take Rickys parents boat out to the lake. My family and Rickys brothers family joined us for fun and a picnic at the lake. It was pretty fun to be out and have a great time with the family. it made for a long evening and we got to bed late after we put the boat away, but so worth it. After Ricky and I got back this weekend we got a call from Ricky's brother Brian saying they were in town and wanted to go to dinner and out to the lake. Tavan loved it. The water is pretty dirty this year from all the water, but it was still fun. Here are some pictures I took.

Tavan has an unwavering love for water and splashing, so today I bought him one of the cheap little kiddie pools to splash in, and he absolutely loves it.

Yep, I love this man a little more every day.

Yesterday, while i was at work and he was home, he cleaned the house, started dinner and even brought my mother and I a fan for our desks! ( it was so hot and miserable in our offices, so he went out and bought us two little desk fans to help cool us down). He is amazing and I love him so much! I was looking through my old wedding photos and found this one and it just made me smile, so i had to share it.

4th of July 2011

This year for the fourth of July was a little crazy! I worked all week before, came home and an hour later we were on our way to Provo, UT for a family reunion. We got to Rickys friends house late, woke up and went to the reunion till 5pm, then met up with Rickys friends from Russia for dinner. Sunday we had Rickys cousins baby blessing and Monday we packed up, headed to the zoo, went to lunch with more of Ricks friends then finally headed home for the Fireworks. Tavan didn't really know what to think about the fireworks. He was way to busy! He would watch for a second then be off running around. It was pretty cute. Here are some pictures from our weekend.
