Tavan getting ready to head to his Doctors appointment!!!
look at those "big boy" jeans!!! so cute!!!
Ricky and I can't believe its been two months already! We love our little one so much! Tavan had his doctors appointment on the twelfth and the doctor said he is doing great and his ear infection was gone.(yay) Tavan's head circumference and height are both in the 20-something percentiles which is good the doctor said but his weight is in the 8th percentile which he said was a little small considering he started in the 12th then went to the 15th then the 19th and now is in the 8th...but it could be because of his ear infection that made Tavan not eat as much. Tavan took his shots like a champ!the baby in the room next to us....not so much... while we were waiting for Tavans turn all we could hear was this baby screaming and Ricky and i were not looking forward to what was about to come.....It was so cute while we were waiting Ricky had Tavan and was telling him that shots don't hurt and that the baby next door was a sissy...it was funny......then it came Tavans turn...he cried with the pokes (which was expected) then whined a little afterwards for like a min...and then he was done.....later that night his leg did swell up to a lump but we massaged it out for him (he didn't like that to much) and he slept so well that night! yay! Tavan is now only waking up around 2-3 a.m. and then again around 6 it is so nice to only have to wake up two maybe three times while we sleep. Ricky and i both take turns...it usually works out on the nights that ricky has work i wake up with Tavan and if ricky doesn't work then he wakes up with Tavan. It is so nice to have someone that will take over feeding and caring for Tavan while he is not working. I am so blessed to have two amazing men in my life! i love them both so very much! on a sad note....our dog, Kenai, is no longer with us... since being pregnant kenai has drove me nuts.....and now that Tavan is here it has gone up so many levels.....its not that kenai was outrageous he actually was very good around Tavan and i was impressed its just that he got a my nerves to many times and for the last few days decided it was ok to start making accidents in the house even after being put out...which i have zero tolerance for.....then the other day right after being put outside for like an hour...i let him in and he peed right on Tavans car seat.....that was IT!!! i had to wash and re wash Tavans car seat (once wasn't enough for my satisfaction...even though it came right out) i was just so feed up with kenai and after talking to Ricky about it we got rid of him.....sad day but so much stress is gone now......i don't think we will get another animal until Tavan is old enough and wants one......
