the holiday season came so quickly this year that we are behind on our blog!! we are due for an update.
This Thanksgiving we had the chance to go to Oregon and see part of my side of the family. we had a wonderful time going to the ocean, cooking, eating (yum!), shopping (Ricky got to experience what "black Friday is all about), and meeting and spending time with family members. Ricky has now met every one on the Varley side of the family except for my brother Jeremey who seems to be refusing to communicate with us. During our trip we got to drive all over Utah, Idaho, Oregon, California, and Nevada. over all the trip was great except for our speeding ticket! hahaha. the weekend after we were able to go to Denver to watch Rickys favorite football team, the Broncos, play. our seats were awesome and i think we both really enjoyed going. two weeks later we went to Salt lake and i was able to see the lights on temple square while Ricky drove up after work and joined me. Basic Energy Services gave me a wonderful gift this year. Rickys rig was shut down over the holiday season and he was able to spend christmas with me at home and will be home until the 5th of January, so he will also be home on my birthday. Christmas was spent here at home in Rangely with both of our families. we were spoiled. Chewy finally got the last set of stitches out and seems to be doing really well with his leg, now if we could just get him to stop eating the snow knocked out from under the car!! GROSS!!
