We recently got back from our trip to Texas, where we had a blast! it was a much needed vacation where we got to spend time together and with my parents! It was pretty warm down there...but it wasnt quite what i expected. i could have handled the heat but Ricky was dying!! haha he doesnt like the humidity.... it was warm but there were plenty of ways to keep cool. I could live in Dallas but Ricky said no...hahah it was funny...and just to address the issue...yes i did not exactly dress modest while down there...it was a personal choice that Ricky and i came to and i do not regret it. most people know that i am pretty sensitive to the heat and sun and there was no way i was going to be wearing 3 layers....it just wasnt going to happen, sorry to those who get upset over it.
on another note....we had so much fun in Texas....we arrived Thursday evening and went to dinner with my parents before we headed to their place. Friday we went to Hurricane Harbor (six flags water park) it was fun and a perfect way to beat the heat....i dont have any pictures from that day (sorry). Saturday we went to the Rodeo in Fort Worth...it was Rickys first Rodeo and he enjoyed (I still cannot believe he had never been to one before....there is a pretty good one in Vernal...which is only 45 min away...and after living here his whole life he had never been)
Sunday we took a slow day...Ricky and I got to go on a date to the movies while the parents watched Tavan. Monday we took Tavan to the zoo for the first time...It was pretty fun to watch Tavan examine everything, and i will admit it...i love zoos!!! i love to see all the animals and how unique and pretty everyone is! plus i got to see a Zebra! on Tuesday we packed up and came home...it was an allday affair to get home. When i woke up i didnt feel to hot and it continued throughout the day and now today (wednesday) i do not feel well at all and am running a fever. :( i am pretty bummed about it because i have so much to do (laundry) so i can feel "at home" and get back on my schedule but i am pretty much just resting and trying to get feeling better. hopefully it passes soon. hope y'all enjoy the pictures! Thank you for a wonderful visit dad! we all enjoyed it so much! can't wait for our next one! xoxo

It looks like you had a good time! There is a lot to do in Texas but there is also a lot of wicked traps and people. Some people really struggle to be an example and stand out instead of blend in. No need to explain the modesty issue- there is only one person you have to answer to for that:) But I am glad you don't live down there- that would be waaaay too far away (and we wouldn't want to risk your eternal salvation j/k!)!
