34 Weeks and an ER visit

The belly

after my dad left we got the nursery all set up. Its crazy to think that this little one could come as soon as Two weeks!! I didnt realize how close i was to the end until my doctor told me that if I go into Labor in 2 weeks they wont stop me.... Scary/exciting thought!!!

in other news, on Monday the 26th I went to work at 8:30 only to be a patient in the ER by 8:45 =/ I had started my day and already it was crazy and in an attempt to sit back down in my chair to check a patient in, i missed the chair (it had rolled back) and i landed right on my tailbone. It hurt alot and in all honesty i was bawling like a little school girl. my co worker kept asking if i was alright and the only thing i could squeak out was "i want my mom". in my defense my thought flow was this
1. OWWWW!!
2. ah, crap i'm pregnant and just fell down
3. Is Dimiti OK?
4. What if he isn't and because of this fall i loose him....Ricky is at home and I dont want to be alone when they tell me something is wrong.....
5. I want my mom with me till Ricky gets here....

Luckily the Doctor was just in the other room and heard me fall so she came running and from there was able to orchestrate how to get me off the floor....i felt pretty awesome with everyone standing around me telling me not to move and that they were getting a backboard, doppler, and calling Ricky. My pride was pretty much shattered at this point and i just wanted to make sure that little one was OK. They eventually got me to the ER and started to Check on Dimitri. AS far as we can tell he is totally fine and we dont even know if the fall even phased him. They monitored me for about 2 hours. We arent able to xray because of the pregnancy but because the treatment for a bruised/broken tailbone is the same im not worried. Doctor thinks i just bruised the bone and doesn't think that i fractured it, but we wont know for sure. So for now I just have a really sore purple and blue bum. Dimitri has been just as active as ever and we both are doing fine =) If anything we can honestly tell him he was dropped on his head as a little one.....

Papa!

My dad was able to come out after his trip to Denver and spend the weekend with us. We all enjoyed spending the weekend together. While he was here we went to the Dinosaur mueseum in Vernal before taking my dad out the the dinosaur quarry and showing him Josie's cabin. Tavan loved going to see all the Dinosaurs and is still talking about it. My dad took a lot of pictures but i didnt take very many here are a few of the ones that i did take though

Ricky, my dad and Tavan

Dad and Tavan

my dad left early Sunday morning but not before he left us messages with Tavans sidewalk chalk. This one was my favorite!

Twin Falls

Our drive to Twin took longer than expected because Idaho was Idaho and there was snow, slush, rain and wind everywhere. We had to stop along the way for a bathroom break and Tavan thought all the windmills outside of American Falls were awesome so we checked them out too

Tavan and my Grandma. We took a picture with Grandpa but with my grandmas camera, so I dont have a copy of it.

Tavan loved his visit with my grandparents and i think they enjoyed it as well.

Finally it was time to start our drive back to Colorado and Tavan was excited to come home and see his daddy.

Dylans Farewell

While Ricky was home finishing the bunk bed, Tavan and I went on a little road trip. My cousin was having his farewell before he left for his mission to Honalulu, Hawaii and i wanted to go see him before he left. We ended up leaving Friday after work and driving to Provo (dropped off Sophie at my sisters to be bred), We got up early on Saturday and drove to Idaho Falls to do some shopping and visiting before the big event on Sunday. After the farewell, Tavan and I drove over to Twin Falls to stay with my Grandparents for a night. It was so nice to get out of town, and traveling with Tavan by myself, pregnant, was not as bad as i thought it would be. I am so glad Tavan is an amazing traveler...I feel like I could take him anywhere with me without it being a big fiasco =)

Its from the side, but here is the Stace Duval Family! I miss living 5 min. away from these guys

Beds!!!

Have I mentioned lately how AMAZING my husband is??? He seriously amazes me all the time. Shortly after we found out we were having a boy, we began looking for bunk beds. We figured we may as well bite the bullet and purchase them now rather than down the road. We did a lot of looking around but couldn't find one we liked that was for a decent price and would last through two Morgan boys. We mentioned that we were on the look out to one of our friends, who ended up telling us about a website with tutorials for almost everything (seriously its addicting...there is so much on there). We went home and checked it out and found a bunk bed tutorial that we both liked. AFter thinking it over for a day or two we decided that we would build/modify the one online and by the next day the lumber was purchased. It took a while to build, stain and we still arent all the way finished with them, but Ricky did such an awesome job!!! He and his friend, James Hazelbush, built the frames. Ricky and I stained them. Then Ricky and Shane Aplanap set them up in Tavans room. We still have to add the upper rails and ladder but left them off for now. Tavan is a climber/ jumper so we don't want him climbing and jumping on the top bed....so for now its just the bottom.Tavan absolutely loves his "big boy bed" and loves to show it off to people who come over. Here are a few pictures of the whole process.

This is just half the lumber it took. Thanks again to the Hazelbush's for letting us use their house/shop to build in!

it looks funny right now with just the one bed, no upper rails, or a ladder but I am loving that Ricky did such an awesome job and that his boys will get to sleep in a bed that their daddy made for them. With any luck (due to the modifications James and Ricky came up with) the beds should last for most of their childhood :)
